The Light that enlightens the world
came into the world,
so that our darkened souls can become light.
The Life of the world came into the world,
so that our mortal bodies can put on eternal life.
The Creator of the world came into the world,
so that our actions can turn from destroying to creating.
The Son of God came into the world,
so that we can become children of God–
transforming our fallen world
in true freedom and perfect love.
